We develop and manufacture standard as well as customer-specific microchips, which comprise highly sensitive photoreceivers, integrated analog and digital signal-processing with DSP or microcontrollers. We produce these chips in our own state-of-the-art facilities. To support our customers with the chips’ various applications, we are developing an application engineering department.
As Head of Application
Engineering, you are tasked with providing our customers with all the necessary information to ensure the successful introduction and operation of our products. Your duties include compiling and editing product flyers and datasheets as well as the development of complete reference design circuits. These circuits are specified by your department in application notes. If need be, these will be manufactured in small numbers and made available to our customers as finished products. As our company is in the process of expanding, you are responsible for the development and growth of our Application Engineering team.
We expect a determined, team-orientated person with excellent communication skills who possesses both the necessary technical knowledge and the desired leadership qualities.

In order to expand our development activities in
Baar/ZG, part of beautiful central Switzerland which is only 20 minutes from Zurich by public
transportation, we are looking for CAD manager & senior CAD
persons.
The CAD team will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of our high-caliber EDA tool flow which includes the full range of analog, mixed-signal and digital front-end as well as back-end
tools. Furthermore, it includes also a TCAD tool flow to support the CMOS technology process
development, which is used for advanced silicon Opto-ASICs that are commonly built into our photoelectric sensor
products.
We expect a team-oriented, creative and dynamic persons who possess technical leadership skills and have a thorough practical understanding of modern design
methodologies. Candidates must have a background and 5 years industrial experience either in a fab environment or fabless semiconductor manufacturer using tools from Cadence Design Systems,
Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, and Silvaco.
In addition, a strong practical experience maintaining a high-performance Linux IT environment are clearly
preferred.

As a TCAD designer you
will be responsible for the computational design of our advanced submicron CMOS process targeting high-performance photo-sensing
applications. This includes both, single devices as well as its integration into the full process
flow. Furthermore, you will assist failure analysis as well as yield enhancement tasks in the daily business of a modern wafer
fab.
We expect a team-oriented, creative and dynamic persons who possess technical leadership skills and have a thorough understanding of semiconductor device physics including optical devices such as photo diodes and CCD
elements. Candidates must have a background and at least 5 years industrial experience using tools from Synopsys

Senior Test Engineer Parametric

As a

engineer you will
be responsible for the installation, programming and operation of our
parametric test system in the newly constructed area of wafer test.
You take responsibility for an efficient and standard compliant PMC
/ SMC chip test and the continuous availability of our test
equipment.
Your duties as a test engineer include the implementation and
operation of our test equipment under production conditions. In
close cooperation with our IC design department you will act as the
interface to the wafer production line and thus contribute to the
continuous optimization of our production processes. You are
responsible for compliance with international standards and the
qualification of our products according to the latest guidelines. In
the production line you realize independently and timely projects
for launching new products. You organize and procure necessary
peripherals for the test procedures and you are the competent
contact of the following departments: IC design, quality assurance
and production. The training of personnel and the transfer of best

As a system engineer you will
be program and operate in the newly constructed area of chip assembly with machines and systems of chip assembly. With the service engineers from the system manufacturer you take the machines in operation. After that task you take the responsibility for the continuous availability of our equipment and maintaining a high level of
quality.
Your duties as a system engineer include the system implementation, preparing necessary process recipes for the chip assembly and monitoring the processing systems for the quality parameters. The main task is to ensure and improve the required high level of quality. You will optimize existing processes to ensure efficient processing of the chip assembly at a high tool - lifetime level and an optimal utilization of plant capacity. You also take responsibility for the management of tools and machine tied resources to the point of preventive maintenance procedures. The analysis and reporting of system data fall in your area of responsibility, as well as the independently and timely implementation of projects to introduce new products in the production line. As a Software-Engineer you develop server based web application as well as interfaces to our MES with WebObjects (Java). Furthermore you realize database scripts with PL/SQL and take an active part in the definition and verification of the database design.
